Oklahoma Brass Quintet
The Oklahoma Brass Quintet, a fixture of musical life at the University of Oklahoma, specializes in classical and jazz music and has been entertaining music lovers throughout the world for two decades. Demonstrating the excellence of OU’s musical programs, the Oklahoma Brass Quintet has been invited to teach masterclasses at some of the nation’s premiere institutions for musical education.

Oklahoma Woodwind Quintet
The critically acclaimed Oklahoma Woodwind Quintet has performed nationally and internationally since 1975, including a performance at the renowned Carnegie Hall. Ambassadors for the OU School of Music, members of the Oklahoma Woodwind Quintet represent the excellence of the OU music program through their public appearances and recordings. OU School of Music students benefit tremendously from the continued professional experience of these resident faculty members.

Holmberg String Quartet
The University of Oklahoma faculty string quartet, Quartet Oklahoma, was established in 1983. The quartet has toured Europe, given world premieres of compositions by American composers and made television films for PBS. The quartet’s schedule of performances keeps them abreast of current performance practices and enables them to bring their professional experience back to the classroom to benefit students in the OU string program.
