University Chorale
Robert Greenlee, director (bio)
The University of Oklahoma Chorale is an advanced vocal ensemble comprised primarily of graduate and advanced undergraduate music students, although non music majors also may qualify. The Chorale serves as a laboratory ensemble for the university’s nationally acclaimed graduate choral conducting program and for Accademia Filarmonica concerts and graduate recitals. The University Chorale repertoire includes choral/orchestra chamber works and a variety of masterworks from all historic eras. The ensemble performs three concerts per semester. Auditions are held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.
University Choir
Mark Lucas, director (bio)
The University Choir is a select vocal ensemble open to all university students through audition. The ensemble’s repertoire consists of a cappella and accompanied music of various periods and styles. Each semester the University Choir presents two formal concerts and also joins other university ensembles to perform major works. The group also is regularly invited to perform at state, regional and national conventions. While the majority of members are upper division undergraduate music majors, advanced underclassman and non-majors may qualify.
University Chamber Ensemble

The University of Oklahoma Chamber Ensemble is an 18-member group selected from the University Choir. The Chamber Ensemble repertoire consists of madrigals, part songs, jazz selections and popular music. The group performs at least two formal concerts each semester and also sings at a variety of other university and civic events.
University Chorus
The University of Oklahoma Chorus, directed by experienced graduate students, is a large ensemble open to all university students. Repertoire varies greatly ranging from lighter popular music to large choral-orchestral works. The Chorus performs at least one concert per semester and also combines with other choral ensembles for larger performances.
Collegium Musicum

Collegium Musicum is an advanced choral ensemble specializing in pre-Baroque era music. Comprised of six to 12 graduate and advanced upperclass undergraduate students, the ensemble performs one major concert per semester and also participates on other projects. The Collegium Musicum is highly regarded for their unique choral performances.
Opera
Jonathan Shames, director (bio)
The University of Oklahoma produces one opera each semester with four to six performances for each production. Roles are open to all university students by audition.
