Dr. Ken Stephenson oversees the freshman and sophomore music-theory sequences. His research interests center around tonality in the twentieth century. His publications include articles on Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and a forthcoming book on the basic tonal, formal, and harmonic style of rock music.
