Jeff E. Jahnke, visiting instructor at the University of Oklahoma School of Music, previously directed bands at Jenks High School, Putnam City North High School and Moore High School. He has performed twice at both the Bands of America National concert Band Festival and the Oklahoma Music Educators Association State Convention.
Jahnke received the ASBDA Young Band Director of the Year in 1998. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Collegiate Band Directors National Associations and Oklahoma Music Educators Association. Jahnke earned his bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Oklahoma and his master's degree in music pedagogy and performance from Oklahoma State University. He joined the University of Oklahoma faculty in 2006.
