Since OU's classroom building was completed in 1935, the needs of students and faculty have changed considerably. Computers and other new technologies have expanded the boundaries of performing arts education and provided new methods through which to teach and learn. Additional curricular programs have created new demands on space for classes and rehearsals.

The School is now renovating its classroom structure to create new rehearsal, classroom, and study areas in order to improve facilities for study of the performing arts employing new technologies and to create “smart” classrooms.

Classroom renovation $250,000
New music technology laboratory $200,000
