IN CONCERT: This recording features student ensembles of the University of Oklahoma School of Music, several of which have achieved national recognition. The Symphony Orchestra is the first college orchestra to perform at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic. Ensembles performing at national conferences include: the Wind Symphony, for the American Band-masters Associations and the College Band Directors National Association; the Percussion Orchestra, for the Percussive Arts Society; and the University Choir, for the Organization of American Kodály Educators. The 1:30 Jazz Ensemble appears yearly at the famous Wichita Jazz Festival in Kansas.
