Send the university application, with certified transcripts, application fee and (for international applicants) financial statement, to the Office of Admissions, 1000 Asp Avenue, Norman OK 73019. For each program—Master of Music, Master of Music Education, Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Musical Arts—there is a link to a brochure that describes that particular program from application through graduation. Read carefully about the program that interests you before compiling application materials. Then complete the Graduate Application Form (MS Word format or PDF format) and mail it and all other required degree-specific application materials to: Graduate Music Office, University of Oklahoma School of Music, 500 West Boyd, Room 138, Norman, Oklahoma 73019-2071. (The form in PDF format requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can fill out the form onscreen or you can print it and fill in by hand. You cannot save the form as filled out, but you can print it. Be sure to print an extra copy for yourself.).
Auditions
We will acknowledge receipt of your application materials by e-mail and you will be given instructions to contact the appropriate member of our faculty to schedule your audition and/or interview as necessary.
