Scholarships

Auditions are required for admission to the School of Music. Students are strongly encouraged to audition on one of the Audition Days 2010. The Piano Area has additional dates available for piano auditions only. Please consult the Piano Area for more information. In special circumstances, it may be possible to make other arrangements with the appropriate professor. For undergraduate audition requirements, consult Suggested Undergraduate Audition Repertoire.

Scholarships, Costs and Financial Aid

Undergraduate scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis at the entrance audition. Scholarship auditions for the following academic year should be completed by March 15, preferably on an "audition day" (see info above). Assistance for those auditioning after March 15 will be awarded on a "funds available" basis only. To ensure the best chance for full scholarship consideration audition on or before this date.

Note: Many School of Music students also qualify for academic scholarships, general scholarships, and need based aid. Be sure you get all of the assistance for which you qualify, by visiting the Financial Aid website.
